Out of Character Backtagging: My own pace tends to lean more towards slower one, so yes. Although, if thread has gone 10+ days or more unanswered I might drop it unless discussed before. Contact me first and we'll make plans. Content Warning: Requiem of the Rose King is a canon that's loosely based on Shakespeare's plays Henry VI and Richard III. So there's a lot of political drama. The canon includes content warnings for death, murder, torture, sexual trauma, religious trauma, incest-y elements, homo- transphobia (some of it being internalized), gender & body dysphoria, suicide & self-harm. In Character Physical/Mental Contact:
Physical: Feel free. Richard comes from culture and society where casual touching is pretty common. He'll tolerate most of things, even when he's not liking it. He also tends to be rather touchy himself, which can sometimes cross lines of what's appropriate so say goodbye to your personal space. He's very touch-starved but at the same time can go from to cold in a blink of eye.
Mental: While I'm very much open to this I'd like a heads-up so that I can, uh. Warn you? Richard's mind is very fragile and he is constantly walking on a thin ice when it comes to mental breakdown. He comes straight from the Dark Ages and the fear of God is very real. He believes himself to be a demon spawn because of his body, and he's constantly haunted by visions from his nightmares and fears. They mostly manifests in his mind in form of two ghosts: Joan D'Arc, whom he views as a witch going against God's will. Richard has hostile and antagonising conversations with her. The other recurring one is the ghost of his deceased father, with whom he has more fucked up moments... so yeah. There's just A Lot. Flirting/Affection: Please flirt with him. Although, I can promise that there's a big chance for it to go over his head. Unless it's very explicit and obvious (and I mean very) he might just think you're being weird, as he doesn't understand why anyone would show any interest in him. However, there will be times when Richard will instigate flirting himself (more often than what you'd think) but he's rarely sincere in those moments. Overall, he craves for affection and acknowledgement. Give that to him and I promise he will not be normal about you anymore. Fighting: Richard will always choose violence if given a chance. He is renowned war veteran and hero with very active bloodlust. Injury/Death: Injury: yes. Death: maybe. Talk to me first.

Appearance Visual: Twink life Description: Richard is very insecure about everything in his appearance. He's short (5.47ft/ 167cm) and build like a twig, with a lithe & lean bodytype. He has heterochromia with his other eye being dark and other one golden amber, and he tends to cover the latter one with his hair. He's pale and has rosy lips, bearing both feminine and masculine features. Overall he is designed so that he could pass as both woman and man. Richard is intersex and was born with a gender non-confirming body (he has both primary sex characteristic and secondary female sex characteristic). Other than that his entire right arm is covered in scars from acid burn. Fashion: Goth. Richard's wardrobe consist of black leather that's designed to conceal his entire body below head. He wears lots of belts and buckles, always carrying a sword and a dagger with him. He also often prefers to hide himself under a hooded cloak.

Shipping OTP/NoTP: Listen... I am Filthy degenerate and here for all canon and crosscanon ships. However, I do not ship him with minors (below 18) or grown characters with stunted emotional maturity or otherwise very child-like characters. Preferences: Richard is canonically bisexual and is attracted to both women and men. M/F, M/M and M/NB are all on the table. In canon he shows slight preference towards men, but that's because he doesn't socialise with women that much and tends to surround himself with men... Thanks to sexist society, tbh.
